Today was a big day in Maclaren's life! He got his first big boy haircut! His Aunt Wanda cut it and he is now free from his babylocks. He is already super excited about it and it doesn't seem like he will be looking back.

Happy Birthday Maclaren! Today was a great day full of birthday festivities! Maclaren had a Toy Story themed party and a ton of family and friends were able to make it. It started off with play time in the gym, complete with bouncy balls, ball games, and a bouncy house! After that, we moved into the media room for a time of present opening and cake eating. Maclaren got way more presents than he needed, but a good time was had by all.
Most of you have probably seen this, but I decide to post it just in case you haven't. Maclaren has done a fantastic job since he has given up his pacifier. He asked for it a few times that first night and will mention every once in a while, but he know that it is in the trash and is okay with the fact that it is gone forever. Good job little man!
Maclaren in giving up his pacifier tonight! Scary! We are going to make a big deal out of it and really do it up. We thought about sending it to China or throwing it in the ocean or giving it to a less fortunate kid in Ecuador. Instead we are just throwing it away. That way he will know it is gone and has no chance of getting it back... To soften the blow we are going to watch Toy Story (his favorite by far) and we got him a new full size Buzz Lightyear (that he will receive upon the depositing of pacifier in trash).

It's been a few weeks since Oktoberfest so i decided to post a few photos and a video...The little boy liked oktoberfest but it was super hot and he was wearing the leather pants...not sure i would be all that happy about it...but he has some German blood in him so he got through it!
Sorry about the lack of updates kids....we will do a better job of keeping everybody informed! Maclaren is almost 8 months old now....Crazy!!!
He is still battling through an ear infection and is on his second round of antibiotics....He is being a trooper but is waking up around 3:30 or so, this makes for some tired parents but we are getting through it! We just hope he gets back to his normal sleeping schedule once he gets better...We love a baby that sleeps through the night!

Today Maclaren has his big two month birthday! He celebrated the day by eating, sleeping, pooping, hanging out with Doo-Doo, and watching some soccer with his Daddy. As of today he weights 10.8 pounds and measures about 24 inches.
